Sounds like Walter came up with a new alibi for Skyler.

Thanks. That's was a suspicion I had, but I think the phrasing of that question is weirder than Anon's response. I guess the fact that Anon still stresses about it and is desperate for attention is the funny part here. I conclude, a 6/10 green text.

So, Anon's just reporting that he had a casual conversation at work (which was existing for him)? Or am I missing something here?

Since the recent call for fusion energy from an AI company, I wonder if eventually there will be competition for energy. Will there be a point where it is more "cost efficient" (for some) to farm solar energy instead of food, because AI will be more productive per m² than most people? It could appear easier to control, too.

Maybe you could argue that this is already the case, except that most people don't feel it yet, because AI isn't very efficient yet and most resources so far, are only spent in expectation of future results.

In that regard, my experience with Lemmy isn't bad. However, a huge factor in interactions in here (and reddit...) will always be randomness, I think.

We stumble upon a topic or are "guided" through an algorithm. The unpredictability is part of the fun/addiction. So the people commenting and their views on the matter are random, too (at least until the number of users is so high, that you can statically predict what the top comment will say). In addition, our moods vary constantly. Now I'm chatty, another time I feel funny or sad. Just imagine your funny self talking to your sad self about a given topic and already you get a lot of potential conflict. :)

Where am I going with this? I don't really know, but ya, being chill is probably always a good idea and I wanted to match your Fonzie vibes. :)

The "best" of both worlds, i.e. dumb people pretending to be smart people that pretend to be dumb.

In an attempt to cheer you up: most of us are useless bums, some are just getting paid more, due to lucky circumstances. You are not worth less than the rest of us goofballs.
Also, you have access to the biggest library in human history (internet) and things could be way worse. If this was 1824, I probably would be very happy, if I could live the life I'm living now. :)

Well, actually...

Right!? Everyone but us is so stupid for talking about Lemmy (who ever that is) in here, while this is obviously squidward. Sheeple are so stupid!
