Why should there be a penalty? Many companies have R&D divisions which may yield the next iPhone or the next Newton. But if you penalize failures in R&D you won’t ever get any breakthroughs as everyone tries to “play it safe”

Weird. On iPhone it remembers if turned BT and WiFi on while Airplane mode is on and will only turn off the Cell antenna. Do that every time I travel.

Remember. There is no such thing as free. They’re data mining the hell out of your email. You can rest assured that gmail is a revenue generator. Just in ways you don’t see.

Yup. You know they have a backup from before the API announcements when things were still going strong and no one even thought about deleting or messing with their comments.

Their old Latitude’s especially the C, D and E series were amazingly solid, easy to work on and had interchangeable parts. I missed those. Even better, you could get certified to work on them and then order parts only replacements under warranty so you never had to ship your laptop out.

I always thought that’s what Sam understood. The ring was fucking with Frodo and what Frodo was doing wasn’t normal so he stepped up. It’s like when your friend is tripping balls and paranoid but you’re still there to help.

Yeah I’d love to know how you can revoke a perpetual license without changing versions or anything around it.

This popped up because Funimation had quite a few purchases that were digital only, and not just a code with your blu-ray. Sony has announced that they are shutting down Funimation on 4/2 and digital purchases will not transfer over to Crunchyroll leaving all those people who purchased digital content on Funimation in the lurch.

I found after 250k cims it pretty much fell apart.

And then there was Paul McCartney.
