Having a good family and social circle is basically the most important part of being ready to have kids

Well, bad news for you there, too: since we're all busy working and commuting and moving states for jobs and our third places are disappearing for various reasons, because our connections have moved globally online instead of locally offline, we are all further away from our families of origin and have smaller social circles to help support our physical lives.

It is kind of amusing how, "You guys are knee jerking your reactions instead of looking at the issue carefully" gets the knee jerk upvotes here.

Add a one-line explanation of what this file represents.

Surprised nobody's volunteered to write the English caption yet.

Sutton Hoo mecha made with Ulfbehrt steel. Unstoppable.

Are you counting the Eastern Empire? There's an argument that our view of “Rome” is obnoxiously Eurocentric. The economic lifeblood of the Empire was mostly outside of Western Europe, and lots of wheat from Egypt.

It's called "the husband stitch" becase because it was done for the husbands pleasure, not for the wife's medical needs, often without the wife's consent. It also might cause sex to be more painful for the woman, even as it was more pleasurable for the man; which is too bad for the woman, because her husband had a legal right to rape her in the United States until the 1970s.
