we learn that what comes out on top in a competitive environment is ragebait, and social media sees increasing amounts of it

It'd be nice if humanity were less attracted to outrage-inducing content and more to, say, catgirls or something.

we definitely need more catgirls, i don't know what that is but it sounds good. Even if my first inclination is that the majority will be femboys. Those guys work hard so I'm willing to give them their due support

Even fedi still has a ragebait slop problem. Look at the abysmal quality of articles that gets posted here and look at the responses.
