Don't worry, it could be something else (maybe worse) wrong with your brain that isn't autism :D

(I haven't tried one due to cost, heat, probably added difficulty w/cleaning, and cost again for the ones that might not have those other issues)

They're great, the whole point is they give you extra weight of a comforter without additional heat. Cleaning is easy, you just take the cover off like a duvet and wash them.

I got one that is double sided. One side keeps heat in a lot more. So I can switch it up depending on the season and temperature. It's lovely.

I just use a sheet most of the time (even now in the winter) because I overheat easily (I don't really sweat).

I'm broke so even the bottom price of $35 seems expensive, anything marketed as "cooling" or just large-weave (?) is considerably more expensive. Large-weave seems like it'd be cooler, but that is coverless so that was my thinking.
