How will they appeal to bigots and racists to win votes? They'll actually have to visit their homes.

possible

should

Sounds very definitive

Government ministers are bound by collective responsibility and so if Milliband states something definitively it is taken as government policy. All other members of government would be expected to say the same thing.

So the weasel words here are because it's not agreed government policy that they should leave X. I expect they haven't discussed it. If he's more definitive it would potentially expose a split in opinion within the government (Oh the horror!).

Understand the code words. His opinion is that they should leave. This is his way of making it a topic for discussion in the government.

I know what it's like Ed

I may possibly think about probably not going to the gym, maybe.

I contacted our public service media outlet in my country saying it's not morally defensible to be on X. They replied they have an obligation to reach as much of the populace as possible, and thus cannot rule out X as a way to reach out. Very annoying.

they have an obligation to reach as much of the populace as possible...

Then their responsibility is to broadcast important information over an open medium that doesnt require registration, and isnt owned and controlled by a foreign adversary

I have the same issues with my gov't at all levels. So annoying.

I mean, they do that too. Through radio and television. But extra info and small announcements would be nice to see on something other than X. I didn't say Mastodon because that would be a very small audience, but I suggested Bluesky at least.

Strong doubt.
