No wonder Trump killed the bipartisan immigration reform bill. I didn't realize the anti-immigrant sentiment had gotten to this level in so much of the population. It's frankly horrifying.

The tested LLMs fared much worse, though, when the Apple researchers modified the GSM-Symbolic benchmark by adding "seemingly relevant but ultimately inconsequential statements" to the questions

Good thing they're being trained on random posts and comments on the internet, which are known for being succinct and accurate.

Sometimes, I think Cointellpro figured out that you don’t need to insert provocateurs to talk about terrorist shit. Just put one nerd in the chat to challenge a subgroup’s purity, and every leftist movement will collapse into infighting and dissolve.

There’s an alternate timeline where the non-profit side of the company won, Altman the Conman was booted and exposed, and OpenAI kept developing machine learning in a way that actually benefits actual use cases.

Cancer screenings approved by a doctor could be accurate enough to save so many lives and so much suffering through early detection.

Instead, Altman turned a promising technology into a meme stock with a product released too early to ever fix properly.

Honestly, turning timber into liquid was never a viable business model. The use cases for a liquid form of wood are almost nonexistent outside of bizarre hobbies or fetishes I'd frankly rather not know about.

Even taking out instruction by Jesus, which would be controversial, the story would not have played out correctly without the betrayal of Judas. He had a pivotal role.

A more friendly interpretation would be that Jesus knew Judas would betray him from the beginning and allowed it to happen, because it was God’s Will.
