We've seen how MAGA treats their own when they get even slightly miffed at them. If we are not in their inner circle of Sociopathic Oligarchs, there is no good behavior that they will ever accept. They intend to kill us all.

Just for have the idea, and creating a plan, and trying to make it happen, they have lost any chance of mercy or forgiveness. Confiscate EVERYTHING, and eliminate them. That's what they intend to do to us.

[–] zarkanian@sh.itjust.works 1 points 4 minutes ago

This is not a MAGA thing. This is an oligarch thing. Remember that the NSA stuff that Snowden revealed was during the Obama adminstration.

Literal "if you've got nothing to hide you've got nothing to fear" energy

[–] BarneyPiccolo@lemmy.today 6 points 1 hour ago

Oh please, PLEASE, can I be the one to pull the handle on the gallows?

[–] CultLeader4Hire@lemmy.world 15 points 1 hour ago (1 children)

They’re not AI data centers, they’re surveillance centers

[–] Flower@sh.itjust.works 7 points 1 hour ago (2 children)

That was the plan for when the AI bubble pops

[–] 4am@lemmy.zip 2 points 19 minutes ago

The AI bubble was the excuse to prevent the market from acting out when they started building.

“Look at our work-saving mechanical Turk! It even does CODING so you don’t have to pay those NERDS anymore!”

[–] CultLeader4Hire@lemmy.world 2 points 49 minutes ago

I think that’s been the plan all along… palantir has been around for at least a decade in the government at this point

A traitor to the United States of America and an enemy of mankind.

[–] jpablo68@infosec.pub 4 points 45 minutes ago

They should start from the top then, the higher the net worth the lower the privacy.

[–] Reygle@lemmy.world 42 points 2 hours ago (2 children)

Does that mean that when a group finds him and straps him to a guillotine we'll be able to get multi-angled high resolution video for prosperity?

[–] sunbeam60@feddit.uk 2 points 49 minutes ago (1 children)

Why do you think the global rich list is so busy investing in robotics?

Before, when things to too far, even the soldiers would revolt.

Now, all you need is electricity to suppress the population.

[–] sunbeam60@feddit.uk 1 points 44 minutes ago (2 children)

Not sure what you’re saying here.

Are robotics good enough right now to suppress a population? No, clearly not.

Will they be good enough in 10 years? Quite possibly.

[–] rumba@lemmy.zip 1 points 13 minutes ago

Humanoid bipedal are sketch, but 50Cal robot dog tanks wouldn't break a sweat.

I fear we're closer to tanks from Ghost in the Shell than we want to be, they just won't be as cheery and reasonable

[–] Reygle@lemmy.world 1 points 41 minutes ago

I'm just having some fun.

[–] Bakkoda@lemmy.world 6 points 1 hour ago

As long as it's being recorded it's considered best behavior by this logic.

[–] AlecSadler@lemmy.dbzer0.com 13 points 1 hour ago

The fuck I will. Hunt billionaires.

[–] badbytes@lemmy.world 21 points 2 hours ago

Oracle, one of the worst tech companies ever. Not surprised at statement.

[–] Luisp@lemmy.dbzer0.com 14 points 2 hours ago (1 children)
[–] Yerbouti@sh.itjust.works 2 points 20 minutes ago

Definitely could be a quote for 1984.

[–] OldQWERTYbastard@lemmy.dbzer0.com 48 points 3 hours ago (1 children)

Oracle is an acronym.

Old Rich Asshole Called Larry Ellison

Some people best serve this world by leaving it.

[–] boonhet@sopuli.xyz 5 points 1 hour ago

It's one rich asshole.

At least that's how I've always seen it

[–] WorldsDumbestMan@lemmy.today 2 points 1 hour ago

I can confirm, I started behaving worse, just to send a message.

[–] magnolia_mayhem@lemmy.world 1 points 1 hour ago

No they won't. They'll be acting exactly how they interpret the panopticon to desire them to act.

[–] obvs@lemmy.world 101 points 5 hours ago (10 children)

This is the man who just bought Paramount/CBS and Warner Bros for his son and fired Stephen Colbert.

If you care about this, you might want to consider whether to ever turn CBS on again.

[–] Blackfeathr@lemmy.world 22 points 3 hours ago* (last edited 3 hours ago)

Also, folks should cancel their Paramount+ subscriptions if they haven't already.

[–] Prior_Industry@lemmy.world 3 points 1 hour ago

If you don't do anything wrong, you have nothing to worry about... say the filthy assholes forcing the laws on us.

The worst part is, too many of us who are subject to such laws also say the same thing, at least at first.

[–] psycho_driver@lemmy.world 2 points 1 hour ago (1 children)

say the filthy assholes forcing the laws on us.

Most of them stars in the Epstein files.

[–] WorldsDumbestMan@lemmy.today 1 points 1 hour ago

Normal behavior? On the contrary, I'm thinking of the Walrus as the fate these scum should face, until I think of something worse.

[–] SocialMediaRefugee@lemmy.world 7 points 3 hours ago

Can we do the same to you Larry?

[–] Footer1998@crazypeople.online 51 points 5 hours ago

ok so implement 24/7 surveillance for those in power since its most important that they are behaving well

[–] zbyte64@awful.systems 12 points 3 hours ago (1 children)

Pedophiles when they take over the government: "everywhere you go, we will be watching you"

[–] Casterial@lemmy.world 7 points 3 hours ago

Yuup, crazy we elected Epstein's best friend forever and now we're being monitored not the child rapists
