What the hell is wrong with the font in that image? It hurts... did someone content aware scale it?

[–] otacon239@lemmy.world 30 points 10 months ago (1 children)

It got reposted at low res at some point and then someone tried an AI upscale to try and make it better.

Can't they just hire an AI company instead of a person?

Apple did release iOS 18.2 which supports chat gpt integration with Siri, might have a ton of new users all of a sudden

[–] sugar_in_your_tea@sh.itjust.works 15 points 10 months ago (1 children)

I thought they hosted their own LLM...

[–] Ste41th@lemmy.ml 16 points 10 months ago

They are going to but LLM Siri won’t be available till later next year, so at the moment the only improvement to Siri is that it can understand people better especially people with stutters.

Any “Advanced queries get handled by chat GPT.

As for writing tools I’m not 100% sure if it’s their own models they are using at the moment but I think that may have chat gpt capabilities as well.

THERE IS AS YET INSUFFICIENT DATA FOR A MEANINGFUL ANSWER.

This is the day after iOS 18.2 was released with native ChatGPT integration.

[–] NocturnalMorning@lemmy.world 28 points 10 months ago

Good, hope it never comes back up.

[–] PrivacyDingus@lemmy.world 25 points 10 months ago

nothing of value was lost

[–] friend_of_satan@lemmy.world 25 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Today Apple released macOS 15.2 with ChatGPT integration. I wonder if this has anything to do with the outage.

[–] elgordino@fedia.io 12 points 10 months ago

Probably more likely to be related to the Sora release or any of the other stuff they’ve announced this week.

[–] maplebar@lemmy.world 25 points 10 months ago

Good. Let it stay that fucking way.

[–] db2@lemmy.world 19 points 10 months ago

Darn. That's just terrible.

[–] andallthat@lemmy.world 17 points 10 months ago

"we were using ChatGPT to design our server architecture and..." (OpenAI PR tomorrow, probably...)

[–] neon_nova@lemmy.dbzer0.com 6 points 10 months ago (3 children)

I always forget about Claude. How does it compare to chatgpt. Maybe I should switch to it for some time to see.

[–] echodot@feddit.uk 11 points 10 months ago

Well the one thing, it's online.

[–] darkevilmac@lemmy.zip 6 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Limits on the free usage tier but the answers I get from it are usually much more useful to start.

I have the opposite experience. Hallucinations out the wazoo.

I usually end up using Llama through duck.ai

It's just throwing a hissy fit because Donald Trump promised it could be ambassador to Greece and then picked the Loud Lady instead.
