If you find yourself getting angry (or god forbid, agreeing) with something Anon has said, you might be doing it wrong.

No anon, you became who you were meant to be in spite of your parents. You just be careful about it, ok?

Is what I would say if op was anon, but op isn't anon so obviously the whole thing is fake and gay (which I'd like to remind everyone is not a bad thing).

[–] phoenixz@lemmy.ca 21 points 6 hours ago

Probably a bit of both, anon

But in reality it's not fucked up, it's just who you are and what you like, though again your tight ass upbringing may have given you some ideas

The pic is from Bofuri.

Not hopeless, just overcompensating from the freedom.

OP needs to strongly consider whether he:

  1. actually likes doing those things, or
  2. is just entranced/aroused by being able to do things that would be otherwise forbidden by his family and culture.

Either is OK, but when being the source of that behaviour, the former is a lot more healthy than the latter.

But point #1 and #2 are the same.

Could be transfem, might be straight, which might be even gayer tbh

[–] yeather@lemmy.ca 2 points 4 hours ago

Nah would have been mentioned if he was anything other than gay.

[–] Frozengyro@lemmy.world 6 points 7 hours ago

Fake, claims he isn't a neet. Gay, fantasizes about this green text daily.

Parents: "You should be punished for having romantic feelings and a sense of independence"

Me: "I reflexively and ritualistically punish myself whenever I'm feeling romantic or pursuing independence"

Nah. Nothing here that I can see.

How to manufacture sexual submissives 🤔

[–] djsoren19@lemmy.blahaj.zone 7 points 4 hours ago (1 children)

I don't really think we need to manufacture any more. The way I see it, there's already a natural surplus of bottoms.

[–] lessthanluigi@lemmy.sdf.org 2 points 3 hours ago

natural surplus

Don't you mean national surplus, or global surplus? Or maybe bottoms are just more naturally created?

[–] ShinkanTrain@lemmy.ml 24 points 11 hours ago

I'm not saying everyone raised catholic wants a partner who dresses like a nun and makes you call them Mother Superior, but I am saying those are the ones I hang out with

[–] ShinkanTrain@lemmy.ml 60 points 12 hours ago (3 children)

It's the rosaries, they look too much like anal beads

[–] Death_Equity@lemmy.world 11 points 9 hours ago

First you are at a rosary necklace level, next thing you know you are akuma necklace level and are getting pull started like an 80's weed wacker by a bear dressed like Winnie the Pooh. Many such cases.

[–] SpaceNoodle@lemmy.world 14 points 12 hours ago (2 children)

That's not what they're for?

[–] ChicoSuave@lemmy.world 17 points 11 hours ago

Either way they elicit an "oh my god"

I'm not afraid of God for the same reason I'm not afraid of the Easter Bunny

[–] GeeDubHayduke@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 9 hours ago (1 children)

Because they're both chill af, and forgave you for that thing you did that time, right?

Right..?

[–] SpaceNoodle@lemmy.world 4 points 8 hours ago (1 children)

Because I killed and ate them

[–] GeeDubHayduke@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 7 hours ago

Mmmmm chianti.

[–] match@pawb.social 2 points 9 hours ago

Is the reputation of catholics for sexual repression actually true or just a meme

[–] drmoose@lemmy.world 3 points 2 hours ago* (last edited 2 hours ago)

Its definitely true and there's a lot of correlation between sexual assault/misconduct and repression though doing science here is obviously really hard so all I can share is some personal anecdotes.

I see a lot of sex tourists here in Thailand (and Vietnam where I lived previously) from repressed countries like middle east region and India and its scary how badly these people are behaving to the point where they are banned from many sex avenues. I had a fried who basically was a Islam virgin and a complete sexual retard and obviously very promiscuous when detached from that until he managed to grow up in a year or two.

Religious sexual repression is scary. My pet theory is that middle east problems would be solved if every dude was just handed a pocket pussy when they turn 16 lol

I know my comment isn't directly about catholicism but its the same thing no matter which religion is enforcing the repression.

[–] Panamalt@sh.itjust.works 19 points 10 hours ago

I think, as with most things, it's a continuum. On one end, they are pretty chill and at the other end are the extremists that are convinced exposed shoulders will instantly corrupt anyone with a penis.

The dilemma of the chicken or the egg problem

[–] Skullgrid@lemmy.world 52 points 13 hours ago (1 children)

how? did them being horny make their parents catholic?

[–] ArbitraryValue@sh.itjust.works 22 points 12 hours ago* (last edited 12 hours ago) (1 children)

OP's parents saw that he would need divine intervention.

[–] match@pawb.social 3 points 9 hours ago

Took one look at OP and all three of them went straight to baptism

[–] breakingcups@lemmy.world 27 points 13 hours ago

One might say, the chick and the cracked egg.
